Need a Business Idea?

Let's face it. Coming up with an original (and profitable, of course!) business idea ain't easy.
Okay, I see you shaking your head there. I understand that you surround yourself with mega intelligent friends, and work with countless awe-inspiring creative geniuses. Your upmost goals are developing new technologies to improve the quality of life, inventing new ways to revolutionize the world, becoming global industrial giant... The reservoir of new ideas is unquestionably bubbling over!
BUT, is there anything that has not been tried or built already? Does the world really need another Facebook knock-off? Have you seen the latest number of apps that are out there? (Check out the June 2016 report here - http://www.statista.com/statistics/276623/number-of-apps-available-in-leading-app-stores/)
Hmmm.... If there is no such thing as an original idea, then what is left?
The truth of the matter is you don't need to have a one-of-a-kind idea in order to start a business.
“There is no such thing as a new idea. It is impossible. We simply take a lot of old ideas and put them into a sort of mental kaleidoscope. We give them a turn and they make new and curious combinations. We keep on turning and making new combinations indefinitely; but they are the same old pieces of colored glass that have been in use through all the ages.” ~ Mark Twain
Here are some tips to help you:
Clear your mind - unclog your brain
Tap into your passion or your genuine interests
Think differently
Spend time with people
Take a different prospective
Listen
Surf the Internet
Leave your seat and go outside
Do it yourself (DIY) or play somethings
Seek out problems and find solutions to solve them
Frankly, ideas are a dime a dozen. The difference is what you do with them. It also depends on how much you continue to improve it, so you always deliver a better experience, better quality, a better way of doing something.
"Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn't really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while." ~ Steve Jobs
Lastly, here comes the truth... The whole article is really an excuse to show off the animated gif. I have to admit that I am mesmerized by it. I simply cannot resist watching it over and over and over again... Okay, it is time to stop! Goodbye for now.
